Nidhi Company Registration
Nidhi Company is a type of financial institution or NBFC that lends or borrow money to its members. If you are planning to start a finance or a loan business you can register your company as a Nidhi Company. You can set your loan business easily and feasibly.
Nidhi Companies are formed, regulated and governed by Section 406 of Companies Act, 2013, Chapter XXVI of the Companies Rules, 2014 and Nidhi Company Rules, 2014. The incorporation of a Nidhi Company is similar to a Public Limited Company. It must have a minimum of 3 directors and 7 subscribers and must end with the name 'Nidhi Limited'. All the transactions are done within the Company hence, RBI has exempted it from its core Acts.
Nidhi Company cannot deal with the public directly. It can only work with its members. To register a Nidhi Company you do not require approval from RBI. A Nidhi Company can ope three branches after a period of three years. Also, a Nidhi Company cannot work outside its registered state. To function in other states you need to register another Nidhi Company.
